Ann & Andy & Drew & Cora & Betty

Here are newborn pics of my sweet babes. Drew is at the top. Cora is in the middle. Betty gets two pictures here at the bottom. No one came to take pictures of Betty in the hospital, so we set up to have a photographer come to our house to take some, but she couldn’t come until Betty was over 2 weeks old. I was disappointed because I wanted brand new newborn shots like we’ve got of Drew and Cora. So, here is the attempt I made at the hospital as well as the actual talented photographer’s shot which is better, but Betty is older. I think they’re all pretty precious though.

I feel like Drew and Betty look a lot alike. When Cora was born I just thought she looked exactly like me. I don’t really see myself a lot in Betty or Drew. Betty smiled for the first time yesterday and I she looks so much like Drew. I’m excited to see what she looks like as she gets bigger. Right now when her hair is wet it is super curly, so we’ll see if that sticks.

8 pounds 1 oz, 19.5 inches.

She’s complete. Waiting for the Dr.

She’s dialated to a 5 and contractions are 2 min apart.

They broke her water. She is still a 3.

Contractions 4 min apart. They started the pitocin.

Ann is having contractions every 4 minutes, but they aren’t very hard. We will be starting pitocin in 20 minutes or so.

Started her with some cytotec. In 4 hours they’ll start pitocin.

They did an ultra sound and Ann’s fluid was low. The baby’s heart rate was high and she was panting. For all of these reasons we decided not to do the amnio and just start the induction. We’re in the room now getting things started. So we are for sure having a baby
